Summitridge is one of the few gated communities in Beverly Hills. This intimate neighborhood consists of just a half dozen homes (and a few remaining lots), immediately south of Mulholland Drive and west of North Beverly Park. The community is secured by unmanned gates at the northern terminus of the public portion of Summitridge Drive. 

 

Lots in Summitridge are exceptionally large; some provide building pads comparable to those in adjacent Beverly Park. One home in the community was built in the 1950s and predates installation of the gates. This residence is much smaller then other homes in the neighborhood but sits on a large lot that can accommodate future development. Each estate is privately gated adding another layer of security. Homes offer sweeping views of the city, ocean, and surrounding canyons. No formal homeowners association exists but each resident contributes funds to maintain the private drive.
