WESTWOOD VILLAGE ADJACENT

This densely populated area adjacent to Westwood Village is home to a large concentration of students attending UCLA. Housing in the neighborhood is all multi-family, with an integrated mix of apartments and condominiums.

As with any community, there are pros and cons to consider. Street parking can be scarce, leaving guests in a potential predicament. Noise can also be an issue, particularly along Gayley and Landfair Avenues where over a dozen fraternities are concentrated closest to campus. House parties have been known to occur throughout the area, predominantly when school is in session.

For homeowners not concerned with the aforementioned nuisances, the neighborhood offers relative affordability and close proximity to major employment centers including UCLA Reagan Medical Center, the UCLA campus, and the Wilshire Corridor. The neighborhood also provides an excellent opportunity for investors looking to purchase a unit to rent. The student population provides a deep and unwavering rental pool; demand for housing in immediate proximity to campus continually outpaces supply.
