Sometimes referred to as Condo Canyon, the Wilshire Corridor is characterized by a landmark cluster of highrises lining both sides of Wilshire Blvd as it meanders through Westwood. Prior to a recent wave of construction Downtown, the neighborhood represented the sole signficant concentration of residential highrises in all of Los Angeles. In a city famous for sprawl, single family homes, and squat condominium complexes, the Wilshire Corridor has long provided an alternative for homebuyers seeking vertical living and views in a full service building.

With over two dozen properties encompassing approximately 3,200 units, the Corridor offers condominiums in a wide variety of sizes across a broad range of price points. At the most affordable end of the spectrum, studios and one bedrooms can easily be found for under a half million dollars. At the high end are literal mansions in the sky, where penthouses and a rarefied handful of combined units exist with up to 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. As most buildings employ full time staff and are highly amenitized, homeowner's dues are considerably higher on average than those at most low and midrise condominium communities throughout Los Angeles. It is of particular importance for potential buyers in this neighborhood to be aware of and take these monthly fees into consideration.

As with all Westwood enclaves, residents of the Wilshire Corridor enjoy ease of access to major commuting corridors and proximity to all the hubs of West L.A.. Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Westwood Village are straight shots down Wilshire Blvd. Century City and UCLA are also mere minutes away.
